Why VYLO
Everything that makes this sock is knitted in. Nothing is printed on or sewn on afterwards.
Pressure with a direction. Firmest at the ankle, easing as it climbs the leg. Not a leg in a tight tube. Measured at three points up the leg: the full 20–30 mmHg at the ankle, about 70 percent of it at mid-calf, about 40 percent below the knee. A sock that squeezes the same all the way is not doing this.
Seven zones, knitted in one pass.
Welt, jacquard panel, calf zone, ankle band, heel, toe, and a left and a right. Each one is a change in the knit rather than a piece added to it.
- Knit — single-cylinder circular, four colours knitted in
- Zones — jacquard calf panel · ankle band · shaped heel
- Shaping — left- and right-specific
- Cuff — smooth welt, no silicone
Colour knitted in, never printed.
Four colours run on their own feeders and meet in the fabric itself. Nothing is printed on the surface, so nothing wears off it.
